  1.  What is a Goldador? A Goldador is a mix breed of the two most treasured breeds the Labrador Retriever and Golden Retriever
     

  2. Why a Goldador? When bred together, you get the best of both breeds. Their temperament, behaviour and genetics complement each other and result in a highly trainable dog frequently used as Assistance dogs across the world.
     

  3. What size are your dogs? Our dogs are classed as large to giant.  The boys are generally larger than the girls ranging from 30 kilos to 45 kilos.
     

  4. Can I choose the colour and sex of my puppy? You can provide a preference of your sex and colour. However, we also take into consideration each puppies temperament, personality, behaviour, drive level, what role they are playing in your family, and the needs of your family. We match our puppies to their owners through temperament testing so that each puppy is placed in a home they will thrive in.   5.  Where are you located? Yorke Peninsula, South Australia, SA, 5571.
     

  6.  Can I visit the puppies? Absolutely! We welcome puppy owners to come visit the litter when it is safe for the puppies. If you aren’t able to visit, we facilitate video calls and live streaming of puppies so you can get to know them.
     

  7.  Can I meet the parents? We love showing off our parents. We can facilitate visits to our property to view and meet the parents. If you aren’t local, we will be happy to have a video call to meet the family.
     

  8. What age does the puppy go to their new home? 8 weeks of age is the earliest the puppy can go home to you. We find our puppies are ready and eager to go to their families at 8 weeks of age.
     

  9. What is the price of a puppy? The price of the puppy depends on what program you participate in. Each program is based around your individual needs to help reach your goals with your puppy. We are happy to discuss the options with you. Starting price is $5000 plus gst. 
     

  10. Do I need to participate in the Early Learning Puppy Program to get a puppy from you? No! We understand that each person and situation is different. You can purchase a puppy and take them home at 8 weeks of age without participating in the Early Learning Puppy Program. You will still experience the joy of watching the litter grow and be involved from birth to 8 weeks of age.
     

  11. I live interstate, am I still eligible for a puppy? Yes. Our puppies live all over Australia.
     

  12. How do you transport puppy’s interstate? We like to encourage families to drive and collect their puppy. However, we understand that this is not possible for everyone. Puppies can fly after 8 weeks of age with a vet clearance. We place puppies together where possible and our chosen transport company is World Class Hounds https://www.wchounds.com.au/
     

  13. Can I participate in the program if I am not training my dog up as an Assistance dog or therapy dog?  Yes, our program is for everyone.
