Curious About Training Your Own PTSD Assistance Dog?

How to Train Your Own Assistance Dog Even If You Have No Idea Where To Start AND Without Waiting Years!  FREE Consultation.

😬 Hypervigilance

😟 Anxiety

😕 Overwhelm

😡 Anger

😱 Nightmares (or trouble sleeping)

🚪🚶Struggling to leave the house

All symptoms of years spent in ‘The Job’.

I can't magically make these symptoms disappear.   But I will tell you this….

The unconditional love, companionship and feeling of safety my assistance dog has provided me has been my savior.

She….

✅ provides protection while in public,

✅ brings me back to the present when I’m anxious or overwhelmed,

✅ calms me when I’m angry,

✅ wakes me from a nightmare (or snuggles in to help me sleep), and

✅ gives me a reason to leave the house.

The problem is, assistance dogs can be expensive and the waiting list is years - or closed due to demand.

And trying to train your own dog, not knowing where to even start can add to your stress and anxiety.

What if you could have a dog specifically matched to your symptoms, lifestyle and personality?

A dog you didn’t have to wait a year or more for?

That you could train yourself with all the training (for you….and the dog), guidance and mentoring needed to make the process as simple, stress-free and fulfilling as possible?

AND - all this while you get the benefits a dog can provide for somebody with PTSD!

Would that be of interest to you?

My name’s Serena Lynch…

…I am a former police officer now dog breeder and founder of M&M Companion Retrievers.  I’ve been working hard to put together a puppy breeding and training program specifically for owners to train puppies to be the dog of your dreams, a therapy or assistance dog.

I am excited to share with you our ‘Early Learning Puppy Program’.

In this Program my team of dog professionals and I will guide you and your puppy from birth to 8 months of age to provide the solid foundations of an Assistance Dog in Training.  From there you will be well on your way to obtaining accreditation as a therapy or assistance dog….

……with none of the ridiculous waiting periods or costs normally associated with obtaining an assistance dog.

The catch? You have to do the training with your puppy. Our program will reduce all the overwhelm and take you through exactly what you need to do.

Now, I know that you can be a skeptical bunch - so don’t take my word for it.  Here’s some of the program participants we’ve worked with previously…..

‘Her emotional support, companionship, and presence is what makes dogs like Skye so special within our community.  𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗻𝗼 𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝗸𝘆𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱!  No task was too hard or too scary, because this dog has been acquired from breeders who selectively breed dogs for future Therapy and Assistance work.  This team will soon be ready for the PAT Test, and we believe they will pass with flying colours!’

‘As we picked up our puppy from Serena’s property, from my heart, I simply said, “It’s been quite magical”.  We can’t fault any part of the process from Day 1 to even today, where Serena continues to follow up with health advice and things to watch for in behaviour. In a tough year for all of us, the shining light for my family has been the experience of working, almost day to day, with M and M Companion Retrievers. 11/10 ( If that’s allowed).’

‘From the first time I reached out to Serena, she has been nothing short of amazing! Wesley is the sweetest, kindest, calmest, smartest and most loving pup in the world, and this is thanks to Serena’s amazing dogs, and how she surrounded the pups with love and moments of learning from the minute they were born! Wesley fits in so well with the other dogs in my family, we genuinely cannot recommend her enough, she is still so involved with Wesley (and me) even after we brought him home - she doesn’t just send you home with a dog, you leave with a community, a family who keep in touch and update each other with the litter’s progress! If you’re looking for a lifelong furry companion, M&M Companion Retrievers is the place!!!’

‘Serena is an absolute pleasure to work with and I cannot recommend her enough. Her breeding program is worth her weight in gold. She has excellent communication and passion for dogs.  If you are looking for a puppy with an amazing foundation, Serena is your go to person.’

‘Not only are M&M Companion Retrievers the cutest little puppies; they're super smart too. Serena works tirelessly to ensure the puppies are confident, calm and cared for. When socialising our puppy people often comment on his temperament and how well his training is going.’

‘M&M Companion Retrievers were super approachable when looking for a puppy and once we committed to the litter, we were updated daily on the puppies' growth and learning. But it didn't stop there - M&M Companion Retrievers are readily available to answer questions and provide resources for new puppy parents.’

‘Highly recommend Serena from M&M Companion Retrievers. It’s clear that she has the best interest of the dogs in mind and breeds for the right purposes, be it a family dog, assistance or therapy dog.’
