This is the core of my program. One approach does not fit all. We tailor and adapt our approach to each puppy and each family. Respecting that we are all different.
The program alleviates overwhelm when raising and training a new puppy. My team of dog professionals and I will mentor you and train you through the first 6 months of having a puppy

M&M Companion Retrievers Early Learning Puppy Program
Expertly bred labradors, golden retrievers and a cross of the two (goldador) under the International Working Dog Association. Your expert puppy raiser, here to guide you from birth until adult. Our program is flexible and diverse, allowing each person to participate in a program that suits there needs.
Enrol in our Early Learning Puppy Program Stage 1: Birth to 4 months, then progress through to Stage 2: 4 months to 8 months. Depending on where you want your training journey to take you, you can continue training into the Young Dog Training Program to refine skills and public access work for assistance dogs. We provide online services via google classroom, zoom and wattsapp, with flexible participation options depending on your goals and needs.
Need in person training? We will connect you with a trainer in your area for the in person training and if extra guidance is needed for behavioural issues that are best addressed in person.
We are your base, your support network, your M&M Companion Retriever Family here to support you through your individual training journey, no matter what that looks like.

But it doesn't stop there. We're passionate about educating our puppy owners on the ins and outs of raising a well-rounded, trained companion—especially one with the potential to become an assistance dog. Through our comprehensive approach, you'll learn alongside us, understanding the intricacies of puppy care and training.
Our commitment to preparing these puppies for their future as incredible assistance dogs is unwavering. We employ the International Working Dog Early Socialization Program, an intensive breeding program ensuring they're primed for the real world. 🌍🐾 Through live-streamed videos, you'll witness firsthand the experiences and environments our puppies are exposed to daily.
Socialization is key, and we aim high. We endeavor to introduce our puppies to 30-50 people within their first 8 weeks, often exceeding this goal with various outings for each litter. And guess what? You and your family are part of this entire process! 🌟
